Apartment 4: Rado
The apartment will enchant you with its combination of light shades and oak wood. Oak wood, which adorns the floor and walls, creates a warm and natural ambiance. This carefully designed space offers an elegant and comfortable place to relax, where aesthetics and nature intertwine.
The open floor plan with a living room, dining room and functionally equipped kitchen allows for relaxation and socializing even while preparing meals. The apartment is also adapted for people in wheelchairs.
The apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two movable beds, which allows the choice between two separate beds or a double bed. The bathroom offers a relaxing environment, where numerous small lights on the ceiling are reminiscent of a starry sky, creating a very special atmosphere. Natural shades, gray ceramics with subtle gold and silver accessories and solid wood are used, which contributes to the overall feeling of elegance and comfort. Enjoy the harmony of materials that complement every corner of the apartment.
We named the apartment after Rado Hribar, the last owner of Strmol Castle. A successful entrepreneur who loved helping his fellow villagers, he appreciated art and living in close proximity to nature. He was an aesthete, a hunter and the owner of a private plane, which he used to land right on the meadow in front of the castle lake. During World War II, he was instrumental in ensuring that our grandfather Janez’s family remained on their homestead and were not evicted. His life was full of good deeds and pleasant people, which is why we named the apartment, which is suitable for people with reduced mobility, after him.
